Findom UK: Findommes and Paypigs Near You
Where our UK members are, what the law says and how British dommes and subs keep it safe.
Where the UK's findommes and subs are
Findom Finder has more than 500 members in the UK. Greater London has the most, more than 150, and Greater Manchester is next with more than 40, followed by the West Midlands, Merseyside, West Yorkshire and Hertfordshire.
| Region | Members |
|---|---|
| Greater London | more than 150 |
| Greater Manchester | more than 40 |
| West Midlands | more than 15 |
| Merseyside | 15 or more |
| West Yorkshire | more than 10 |
| Hertfordshire | 10 or more |
By city, London leads with more than 120 members, then Manchester with more than 40, and Liverpool, Birmingham and Leeds each have a smaller circle. Our UK members are young: 25 to 34 is the biggest age group, and almost two in three are under 45. Most UK findom still happens in messages, so a domme in Glasgow can rule a sub in Kent, but if you want cash meets, the London and Manchester pools are the deepest. See every country on findom by place.
Findom on British screens
Findom has had a good run on UK television. Channel 4 commissioned "Findoms: Uncovered", a 25-minute film presented by Sydney Lima, announced to air on its Channel 4 Documentaries channel on YouTube on 23 October 2025; Channel 4 described it as a look at a world "in which men willingly hand over cash in exchange for humiliation, power play and control". Earlier the same year, ITV2's "Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich" gave a whole episode to findom, first shown on 23 February 2025.
Television makes it look like a quick win. Real findom is slower and more personal: a dynamic between two adults who both want it, with rules, limits and a lot of checking before anyone trusts anyone. Our guide to what findom is covers how it really works.
Is findom legal in the UK?
No UK law names financial domination. Giving money or gifts to someone you choose to serve is not, on its own, a crime. The offences sit in the conduct around it, and none of them has an exception for consent:
- Blackmail. Under section 21 of the Theft Act 1968, an "unwarranted demand with menaces" carries up to 14 years in prison in England and Wales.
- Threats to share intimate images. Since 31 January 2024, threatening to share an intimate image of someone has been an offence under section 66B of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, whether or not the image exists.
- Harassment. The Protection from Harassment Act 1997 forbids a course of conduct that amounts to harassment.
So "blackmail" in findom can only ever be role play, with no real threat and nothing real held over anyone. And a findom debt contract is not a debt the courts will enforce: English law usually needs something given in exchange, a bare promise of money is unenforceable unless made by deed, and courts presume social arrangements are not meant to be binding. Our guide to whether findom is legal goes further. None of this is legal advice; speak to a solicitor about your own situation.
Do UK findommes pay tax?
HMRC's general rules apply. GOV.UK sets a trading allowance of up to £1,000 a year, and anyone with gross trading income over £1,000 must register for Self Assessment, by 5 October after the end of the tax year. GOV.UK also lists income from creating content online among the income you may need to tell HMRC about. HMRC's own manual says voluntary payments made to add to the price of goods or services are taxable.
Whether a particular tribute is income or a gift depends on the facts, so this is not tax advice: check with HMRC or an accountant. Findom Finder itself is for meeting, not selling, so it never handles tributes.
Cash meets and scams, the British way
For an in-person cash meet, take the Suzy Lamplugh Trust's advice for any meeting with someone from the internet: meet in a public space, tell someone where you are going and who you are meeting, take a charged phone, make your own way there and back, and never give your home address on a first meeting. A cash meet is a gift handed over in public, never anything sexual. Our findom near me page covers the rest.
Where to get help in the UK: fraud is now reported to Report Fraud, which replaced Action Fraud, on 0300 123 2040 (in Scotland, call Police Scotland on 101). If someone threatens to share images of you, the Revenge Porn Helpline's advice is to keep evidence, block, report and contact the police, and adults can use StopNCII to stop images spreading. For money worries, StepChange (0800 138 1111) and National Debtline (0808 808 4000) give debt advice, and Samaritans answer any time on 116 123.

Findom in the UK, answered
Is findom legal in the UK?
No UK law names findom, and choosing to give money to someone is not a crime on its own. Real blackmail, threats to share intimate images and harassment are crimes, with no exception for consent, so any "blackmail" in a dynamic must stay role play. This is not legal advice.
Is findom income taxable in the UK?
It can be. GOV.UK says anyone with gross trading income over the trading allowance must register for Self Assessment, and HMRC's own manual counts voluntary payments that top up what is paid for goods or services as taxable. Ask HMRC or an accountant about your own case.
Where are most findom members in the UK?
In Greater London, with more than 150 Findom Finder members, then Greater Manchester with more than 40. London alone has more than 120 members, and Liverpool, Birmingham and Leeds have smaller circles.
What was the Channel 4 findom documentary?
"Findoms: Uncovered", a 25-minute film presented by Sydney Lima, which Channel 4 announced for its Channel 4 Documentaries channel on YouTube in October 2025. ITV2's "Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich" also had a findom episode in February 2025.
