Spot a fake findomme or a fake paypig
Fakes on both sides want something for nothing.
The fake findomme demands a send before you have any reason to trust her and has no badge or rating worth reading. A real domme can be demanding; a fake one cannot wait. A reverse image search, which the FTC recommends, shows whether her photos belong to someone else.
The fake paypig promises big sends that never come, wants photos or time for nothing, or asks the domme to pay a fee first. A sub who wants money from a domme is not a sub, and a screenshot is not a send.
Never pay to be checked: a stranger who demands a "verification tribute" to prove you are real is running a scam. Proof of who someone is comes from the badge that free ID checks give, never from your wallet.

What if someone threatens to expose me?
Do not pay. Keep the messages, report and block them, and go to the police. Blackmail play happens only by agreement; a real threat is a crime. In England and Wales blackmail carries up to 14 years in prison under the Theft Act 1968, and in the US threatening someone's reputation to extort money across state lines is a federal crime.
