The thrill of being made to give
Justin Lehmiller described subs who find it arousing to be "forced" to give money to a dominant partner. Being told to send, then sending, is the whole point.
The sub's side
Who pays, why giving it away feels so good, and the names subs answer to.
A paypig, also written pay pig, is the submissive in financial domination: someone whose kick is giving money or gifts to a dominant, usually a findomme. Finsub, money slave, cash slave and human ATM name the same role. Business Insider described pay pigs paying their findommes "for nothing tangible in return", and that is exactly the point.
There is no service and no sex in it. Wikipedia notes that the sub in financial domination has no expectation of sexual contact, and often the two never touch at all. What a paypig wants is the act of giving, and a domme who makes him do it.
Subs answer to a handful of names. They overlap, but each has its own history, and the rest of the slang is in our findom terms glossary.
Usually a findomme: the financially dominant woman who takes what the paypig gives. Wikipedia's list of names for the dominant also includes findom, Goddess, money domme, money mistress, money master and cashmaster, because the dominant can be a man. Whatever the title, the dominant decides and the paypig follows.
For that side of the dynamic, read what findom is, then meet the findommes on Findom Finder.
The pay-off
Nothing he could carry home in a bag, and that is the appeal. Four rewards keep a paypig sending.

Rules, tasks, permission to spend. Channel 4 described men handing over cash for "humiliation, power play and control", and the control is the part a paypig craves.
A reply, a task set just for him, a mention in front of her other subs. Being noticed by a domme he admires is a reward no shop could sell him.
Joe Kort, writing in Psychology Today, stressed that dom and sub both know the game is consensual and both enjoy it. That consent is what separates a paypig from a victim.
It runs on trust before it runs on money. When Gündüz, Demirel and Tombul studied findom on Twitter, they found trust and joy had to come first for an online findom dynamic to form.
First the sub decides what he can spare each week or month, and what he will never do. A domme can only play with a limit she knows.
How he addresses her, when he checks in, what a tribute means between them and what happens when he slips. The structure is hers to build.
Tributes, wishlist gifts, tasks and perhaps a cash meet in a public place. The rhythm is weekly, every morning or whenever she says.
On Findom Finder it starts in private messages, where the two of you agree the rules. The site never handles a tribute: what is given, and how, is settled between you and nobody else. Check her ID badge and rating before the first send, read findom scams so a fake never gets a penny, and see how to find a findom before your first message.
Good sends come out of money a sub will never miss. Therapist Debra Kaplan, writing in 2026, listed the signs that findom has stopped being play: spending more than you can genuinely afford, failing to cut back when you mean to, being pressured or threatened for money, hiding it from a partner, and real guilt or distress.
Never borrow to send: no loans, no hardship money and no credit you cannot clear. A domme worth serving does not want it, and a findom debt contract is not legally enforceable, as our guide to whether findom is legal explains.
If it is causing you distress, Samaritans answer on 116 123 at any hour in the UK and Ireland, and in the US you can call or text 988.
Finsub is short for financial submissive: someone who submits to financial domination by giving a dominant their money, gifts or the final say over what they spend. It describes the same role as paypig in plainer words, and the person on the other side of the dynamic is usually a findomme.
It is another name for a paypig, and one of the names Wikipedia lists for the submissive in financial domination. The idea is a sub who pays out whenever his domme asks, like a cash machine, though it is still a role he chose, and the amounts stay inside a budget he set.
We know of no UK or US law that names financial domination. Where the law bites is what can happen around it: real blackmail or extortion, threatening to share someone's intimate images, harassment, fraud, and anyone under 18 being involved. Our guide to whether findom is legal has the detail, as general information rather than legal advice.
There is a Reddit community called paypigsupportgroup, but its own description shows it is a place for subs to talk about serving, not a recovery group. Subs who want to stop have a separate user-run Reddit community, QuittingFindom, and StepChange gives UK debt advice on 0800 138 1111.
The same as it means everywhere else: a sub who gets a thrill from sending money or gifts to a dominant. TikTok's community guidelines do not mention findom by name, though they do bar sexual solicitation. On a findom site, dommes and subs can meet and agree the rules in private.
